Shipping Policy

In order to deliver safe and secure oysters to everyone, Koei Suisan grows oysters in accordance with Sakae's strict shipping regulations.

Freshly landed oysters are carefully shelled one by one and thoroughly washed in UV-sterilized seawater. After that, the selected oysters are shipped by size while maintaining their freshness. The entire process is carried out in UV-sterilized seawater.

The oysters are then cleaned of any debris that may be attached to the shells and returned to the sea. They are then kept alive for about three weeks to fatten and mature. After washing the matured, meaty oysters with shells, they are purified in UV-sterilized seawater for 24 hours before being shipped.
